1. Fiberboard
Fiberboard, also known as density board, is formed by high-temperature compression of powdered wood fibers. It has good surface smoothness, stability, and strong load-bearing capacity. This material is better in strength and hardness than particle board when customized for hotel furniture. And melamine veneer fiberboard has the characteristics of moisture-proof, anti-corrosion, wear-resistant, and high-temperature resistance, without the need for post-treatment, and with low formaldehyde content. It is a good material for customizing hotel furniture, but it requires higher processing accuracy and craftsmanship, resulting in higher costs.
2. Melamine board
Dip paper containing different colors or particles into melamine resin adhesive, dry to a certain degree of curing, and lay it on the surface of particle board, medium density fiberboard, or hard fiberboard. After hot pressing, it becomes a decorative board. The appearance design of melamine board has undergone more changes and is more personalized, making it an optional material for hotel furniture customization. However, the environmental requirements for the board are very strict and comply with the European E1 standard.
3. Wooden particle board
Particle board, also known as particle board, is made by adding fine wood fibers on both sides of the middle long wood fiber, and pressing it through high-temperature and high-pressure pressure plates. Its substrate is processed by cutting tree trunks or branches or shavings. The disadvantages of choosing this material for hotel furniture customization are that it is easy to make, has large quality differences, and is difficult to distinguish. The edges of the particle board are rough, easy to absorb moisture, has loose density, and low grip. Only imported particle boards meet the European E1 high standard, with a formaldehyde content of less than 0.9 milligrams per 100 meters.
